In the handicap competition, the women’s event was taken out by Kay Frost (23:16), second place Ann Bomers (32:47) and in third Teresa Dixon (25:01). Michael Tripodi won the men’s handicap (18:03), with Darrel Cross in second (20:42) and Rob Semmler placing third (21:09).
With Winter beginning to wrap up, the days are getting longer and with that comes an exciting couple of weekends of Harriers racing. Don’t miss out on the Edward Hunter Reserve 12km and 4km Championships this Sunday 20th August, with other events such as King & Queen of the Mountain and the Walhalla Wound-Up also coming up on the calendar.
For the Thursday night competition, the next scheduled run is this Thursday (17th August) at Smith Street (off Park Lane) in Traralgon. Join us at 5.50pm for a 5km, 3.3km or 1.2km event.
